A BLOG ABOUT THE STREET+This project started in June 2010 when I designed a geometric graphic after the "F" from the Facebook logo. I printed them on pieces of cardboard and pasting them up around Edinburgh. The design moved onto tiles and paper, being pasted or spray painted all over the city. I felt that the singular design needed to hold a purpose other then being pasted on a wall or become another piece of graffiti. While I was painting serveral of them on a wall on Potter Row I realised what the purpose of the design was. To use the same 4x4 tile square and make a design for each letter in the alphabet. The new letters would then be pasted up to form whole words. The beauty of the project is that to the normal eye its just tiles and a design, but you actually are looking at the word "PHUCK" or "CHARM"
